You’ve probably heard about someone who’s had acupuncture for some
reason or another. Or perhaps you’ve heard that people get acupuncture to
help with the same symptoms that you suffer from, but you have a hard time
imagining how needles could possibly help with something that hurts
already.

So you remain skeptical. But curious.

It’d be nice to get some relief for your condition, but you don’t really buy into that sort of thing. “How could it work,” you say to yourself disbelievingly.

“I am a skeptic by nature… but decided to give it (acupuncture) a try for my
tennis elbow and I couldn’t believe the difference after just one treatment.
My arm felt young again and I played pain and discomfort free for months
after. Thank you, Jill.”
Bill, Portland, Or.

I’ve been practicing acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for
12 years and have helped countless people with a wide range of complaints.
Along with acupuncture needles, my tools are Chinese herbal medicine,
cupping, nutritional advice, moxabustion, my enduring passion for the
medicine and my deep desire to help those who are in pain, uncomfortable
and unhappy with their current state of health.

“I can’t tell you how much Jill has helped me with acupuncture. I’ve suffered
with migraines for most of my life and now I feel like I’m getting my life back
on track. Life is much better. Thank you, Jill.” Lisa, Redruth

People often come for the treatment of a specific problem but notice other
areas of their lives improve too. TCM is holistic. Practitioners address the
mind, body and emotions because those things are not separate from each
other. They make up the fabric of the individual, each like a strand linked to
and overlapping all the others. When something isn’t right and we don’t feel
well, the strands are wrinkled and tangled. TCM helps to smooth it out again
restoring health and a sense of well-being.

“Each session left me feeling relaxed, calm and refreshed in addition to the
obvious improvements on my skin which were commented on by several
people.” Nicole, Falmouth
